Cardinal basketball tips off the 2012-13 campaign in Iowa this weekend with two men's games and a single women's game.

The Jewell men start the trip with an exhibition game against Drake in Des Moines on Saturday morning at 11 a.m.  Although the game will not officially count in the Cardinal record, it will be an official game for the Division I Bulldogs.

The Cardinal women will officially open their season Saturday night at Upper Iowa University with a 7:00 p.m. start.  The next day, the Jewell men face Upper Iowa in a 1:00 p.m. tipoff.

The Cardinals open their home seasons on November 20 with games agains Clvary Bible College for the women, and Tabor University for the men.
