The William Jewell College men's tennis program has added another player to its recruiting class for the 2012-13 season with Isaac Hamilton of Liberty, Mo.
Hamilton, who attends Liberty High School, signed his National Letter of Intent to participate in athletics as a Cardinal.
Hamilton, played number one singles and number one doubles this season for the Blue Jays and currently stands at 8-8 with four matches and the district tournament left to play in the 2012 season.
Off the court, Hamilton is involved in a number of different organizations such as Senior Class Vice President, National Honor Society (2010– 2012), Varsity Debate (2008-2012) and Symphonic Band (2008-2012).
"We are thrilled to add Isaac to our program,” said head coach
Paul Worstell. “His passion for the sport and his desire to improve his game is going to be a great asset for him in college tennis. I also believe he will be successful academically and add great chemistry to our team.”
William Jewell is coming off its second consecutive winning season, with a 13-7 record, and finished in fourth place in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Western Division.
