Box Score In the first round of the 2014 Deaconess GLVC Women's Basketball Tournament the Cardinal Women fell to the Truman State Bulldogs  70-58, eliminating the Cardinals from tournament play.   Jewell entered the game ranked seventh in the conference with a conference record of 6-12. 
 
The Bulldogs used a rebounding advantage to go into the locker room at halftime with a 31-22 lead.  Chelsea Meeks put up nine for the Cardinals in the half, followed by Cassy Nicolay with six points and five rebounds.
 
The Cardinals responded with a strong second half performance, challenging the Bulldogs for boards.  Meeks finished the game with 27 points and five assists.  Cassy Nicolay rounded out the game with eight points and eight boards.  Aerial Smith contributed eight points and six boards.

The Cardinals 2013-14 season is concluded with an overall record of 11-16 and 6-12 in the GLVC.
