Pat Hansen enters his third stint with the Cardinals after previously stops in 2008 and 2019-2020.

• He is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Kansas Football Coaches Association, and Greater Kansas City Football Coaches Association
• Hansen comes to Jewell after serving as the head coach at Schlagle High School.
• He is not new to the Liberty community as he served as the head coach for Liberty High School from and 2000-2007 and was on the staff for the Blue Jays more than 25 years, helping Liberty to nearly 150 wins.
• Hansen has coached more than 50 players who have played at the collegiate level and five who have been drafted to the NFL or CFL.
• He was a three-time Sub Big Class Coach of the Year and five-time NFL High School Coach of the Week
• He was twice selected as the Defensive Coordinator for MO-KAN All-Star Game
• Hansen was a two-sport athlete, starring football and baseball at NCAA-I University of Northern Iowa.
• He earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from Northern Iowa followed by a master's in physical education, exercise and sport science with an emphasis in athletic/sport business administration from Central Missouri.
• He is married to wife Lisa and has two children, Ben and Megan.
