What would a Top 10 List be without controversy?

In a stunning case of oversight, nine track and field athletes were left off the list of GLVC 1st team All-Conference selections in the #5 story on our Top 10 Athletic Stories of 2011-2012. 

We sincerely apologize for the error.

Indoor track and field first team All-GLVC were Jessica Borey, Josh Duncan, Clint Ederer, Alex Hughes, Logan Pettz, Sara Shippy, and Chris Speed.

The outdoor track and field first teamers were Borey, Troy Fletcher, Hughes, Pettz and Britany Riley.

All of these athletes should have been included with the #5 story of the year featuring first team All-GLVC athletes.

Looked at from another angle, this ommission becomes the top nominee for Top 10 Mistakes of the 2012 Summer.  Watch for that series coming soon.
